What is Windows 8 “Genuine Center”?
Images have surfaced on winfuture.de of a new Genuine Center in early builds of Windows 8. This appears, for the moment, to simply be a single place accessible from the Action Center where a user can check if their copy of Windows is genuine, enter or change their product key and activate it.

Possible Windows 8 App Store Screenshots leaked
We’ve heard rumors that Microsoft is working on an App Store model codenamed “Jupiter” for their upcoming release of Windows 8. Very little is known about the app store, but small bits have started to leak about Microsoft’s plan for the new app model. New Office Service Packs Coming
Microsoft is busy. It’s Office Suite software is up for some updates and it plans to deliver the first service packs for Office 2010 and for SharePoint 2010 sometime this summer. Commodore 64 Makes A Return Running Windows 7
The Commodore 64 was widely regarded as one of the first actual personal computers that people could buy and use. We’ve been wondering when this day will finally come for a while. It didn’t take Windows 7 too long to overtake Windows Vista in terms of market share, but we all agreed that the biggest test for Windows 7 would be to see if it could take down the mighty Windows XP.

I’m TK421 and the Death Star was my Idea
Some great videos have been put online parodying Microsoft’s “Windows 7 was my idea” adverts from last year. The videos feature a Stormtrooper, Darth Vader and Chewbacca. The videos are very professionally made with excellent costumes and a very effective green-screen process. When Microsoft launched Windows 7 they wanted to make it known.
